Car rental is strongly recommended in order to visit Kalados. The road from Naxos town to the town of Kalados is newly paved and in very good condition, however, roads inside the town of Kalados are not paved. The dirt road from the end of the paved road to panasea villa kalados is approximately 2.5 km (1.5 miles). While a standard 2WD sedan can traverse this road a 4WD is recommended for a more comfortable journey.
